The Malvern Hills are a range of hills in the English counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and a small area of northern Gloucestershire, dominating the surrounding countryside and the towns and villages of the district of Malvern.

The highest summit of the hills affords a panorama of the Severn Valley with the hills of Herefordshire and the Welsh mountains, parts of thirteen counties, the Bristol Channel, and the cathedrals of Worcester, Gloucester Coordinates: 52°05′N 2°20′W / °N.

A new Herefordshire district was formed from the Herefordshire parts of Malvern Hills and Leominster, along with Hereford and South Herefordshire, and became a unitary authority.

The remainder of those two districts became a new Malvern Hills district, in the new two-tier non-metropolitan county of Worcestershire, along with the remaining ment: Hereford and Worcester County Council.GREAT MALVERN - is the main town in The Malverns Worcestershire, England, positioned at the foot of, and partly on the sides of, the Malvern n first rose to fame as a Health Spa Town in the 19th century.

Its water is still bottled and exported around the world. The name was probably derived from the Celtic name Moel Bryn meaning bare hill, situated 8 Miles South West of Worcester. The district includes approximately half of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (prior to the alterations to its boundary, it covered most of the AONB).

The district bounds onto the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire, as well as the Worcestershire districts of Wychavon, Worcester and Wyre tuent country: England.
